Web Commerce Cookbook

Everything You Need to Know to Build a Profitable Web Site

reviewed by Charlie Morris

January 16, 1998

This fine book is a general guide to building Web commerce sites. It takes you through each step of building a commerce-enabled site, which is to say a site that accepts payments over the Web. Not only does it cover most of the issues involved, it provides a lot of useful CGI scripts, and points to resources where you can get lots more. If you are a Web developer who wants to learn how to build commerce-enabled sites, I would recommend the Web Commerce Cookbook over the other Internet Commerce books we've seen.
